Who we are

DELA Media is a trading name of DELA LTD, registered in England and Wales under company number 14230384. Registered office and contact address: E19 Enterprise Building, Rope Walk, Lincoln, Lincolnshire, England, LN6 7DQ. DELA LTD is responsible for the personal information described in this notice. For privacy requests, contact hello@delamedia.co.uk.

Project enquiries

When you contact us through this website, we receive your name, email address, selected service and message. We also record the page or project associated with your enquiry, its submission time and delivery status. We use this information to reply, discuss your brief and manage the enquiry. Please avoid including sensitive information that is not needed for your project. Where you ask us to take steps towards a contract with you, we process the enquiry for that purpose. Where you contact us on behalf of a business, we rely on our legitimate interest in responding to relevant business communications. If you do not provide contact details, we may be unable to respond. An enquiry does not subscribe you to a mailing list.

Newsletter subscriptions

If you subscribe, Mailchimp receives your email address and processes subscription, confirmation and unsubscribe records. You must confirm your email before joining our newsletter. We use your consent to send the updates you requested. You can withdraw that consent through the unsubscribe link in our emails or by contacting hello@delamedia.co.uk. Subscription is separate from project enquiries and website cookie preferences. Mailchimp also processes technical and delivery information under its privacy information: https://mailchimp.com/legal/privacy/ .

Website delivery, security and privacy choices

Cloudflare provides our website hosting, file storage and delivery. It may process network information, including IP addresses and request details, to provide and protect the service. Our website stores your privacy preference in your browser and keeps a separate record of the choice. That record contains a random receipt identifier, the choice, its time, expiry and the versions of the information shown. The consent journal does not contain your name, email address, full IP address or browser fingerprint. The random identifier is pseudonymous; it is not proof of a person's identity. We use necessary preference and security information in our legitimate interests in respecting your choices, operating the website and preventing misuse. We limit this processing to what is needed for those purposes.

Optional analytics

Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager are not currently enabled on this website. No Google analytics or advertising tags are loaded by this release. You can record or change an analytics preference in Cookie settings, but allowing it does not enable a service that we have not connected. Before introducing analytics, we will update the relevant information and request a new choice where necessary. Cookie preferences do not authorise newsletter subscriptions.

Service providers and transfers

We use Cloudflare for the website and enquiry delivery, and Mailchimp for newsletter subscriptions. Enquiry notifications are delivered to our business mailbox. We may also disclose information where necessary to meet a legal requirement or establish or defend a legal claim. Our providers may process information outside the United Kingdom, including in the United States. Their data-processing terms describe the applicable transfer safeguards, including standard contractual clauses and the UK arrangements where required. You can ask us for information about relevant safeguards. Provider details: https://www.cloudflare.com/cloudflare-customer-dpa/ and https://mailchimp.com/help/mailchimp-european-data-transfers/ .

Retention

Browser privacy preferences last six calendar months from your explicit decision. A visit does not extend that period. Consent decision records are retained for 365 days, approximately twelve months. Expired records are removed through daily housekeeping. The non-personal versions of our notices may be kept so that retained decisions can be understood. We retain project enquiry records for twelve months after the last communication. Where information becomes part of a contract, accounting record or legal matter, the relevant information may need to be kept separately for that purpose. We review enquiry retention separately from the automated consent journal. Newsletter information is retained while you remain subscribed. After an unsubscribe request, we retain only the minimum suppression information needed to prevent further marketing to that address, for as long as it is needed for that purpose. This information is not used to send further marketing. Providers may retain their own security or service records under their applicable policies. Residual backups are restricted to recovery and security purposes rather than routine marketing use.

Your rights and choices

Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, you may request access to your information, correction, erasure, restriction or portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and can object to direct marketing at any time. You can withdraw consent without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. Contact hello@delamedia.co.uk to make a request. We may need proportionate information to verify the request. You may complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/ or to another competent authority where applicable. We do not use the information described here to make solely automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects.

Changes

The version and effective date appear above this notice. We will update it when our processing changes and explain significant changes where appropriate.
